I am a Hamburg-based Director & Creative Producer. I tell stories about people living on the margins, characters facing moments of deep vulnerability, isolation, or loss who discover connection or dignity in unexpected ways. My work is rooted in the belief that all art begins with lived experience. My own journey from soldier to immigrant to artist fuels my fascination with lives at the edge of society, a place I’ve been and a place I feel myself constantly inspired by.

I was born in Los Angeles to a working class Mexican American family but my career in film began studying dramaturgy and film production at NKH in Bergen, Norway(2015). I enjoy working across both fiction and documentary. My short documentary EVA, a portrait of a drag queen in Mexico City, was runner-up at the TIFF x Instagram Shorts competition(2018). My latest short, Nightwish (2025), a fantasy/thriller about a sex worker's pursuit of connection in an unforgiving world premiered at Fantasy Film Fest in 2025.
